Appaloosa Riders Win at Area IHSA Shows
Three northeastern Appaloosa riders competed at separate Intercollegiate Horse Show Association shows this past weekend.
First up was Heather Burkholder, showing for Penn State who was 2nd and 3rd in her horsemanship classes. She was the high point rider for both shows.
Chloe Sullivan also showed. In the morning set of classes she won her horsemanship class and was 2nd in her ranch class. In the afternoon set, she won her horsemanship and was 5th in the ranch. Chloe shows for Bloomsburg University.
Showing in a different division, for Morrisville State College was Jenna Tyson. Jenna won both her morning and afternoon horsemanship classes.
Not to be outdone by the riders, several Appaloosa Horses were used for the show. At the Penn State show, Chipped in Stone, Sunrise Jubilee and DZ Extremely Handy carried riders in many divisions.
